The Berglund Center for Internet Studies is an institute of Pacific University Oregon, located in Forest Grove, 20 miles west of Portland. We are funded by a generous grant from Pacific University alumni Drs. Mary and James Berglund of La Jolla, California.
The Berglund Center facilitates both theoretical discussion and practical action relating to the impact of the Internet upon individuals and their communities worldwide. We study the effects of the Internet on the ways we work, communicate, teach, and learn.
The Director of the Center is Professor Jeffrey Barlow, a senior member of the Pacific University faculty and the Matsushita Chair of Asian and International Studies at Pacific.
Technical support is provided by student majors from the Computer Science and Integrated Media programs at Pacific. Students from a variety of programs and departments work for us in a wide range of activities.

Congratulations to the 2009-2010 Berglund Student Interns: Jennifer Hernandez, Kailyn Wentz, Valarie Horres, and Nicole Nowlin. We are pleased to offer this opportunity to encourage and disseminate student research and look foward to their outcomes, which will be publically presented as they each finish their projects.
