The 2008 Berglund Summer Institute will be located at Pacific University. Pacific University is a regional Liberal Arts University founded in 1849. The University is set in historic Forest Grove, Oregon, and has been hailed as having one of the most wired campuses in the country. Forest Grove is located about 22 miles west of downtown Portland.

You may elect to stay on campus from noon on July 13th to noon on July 17th for $150.00. Housing will be provided by the Vandervelden Apartment Complex on the University campus. Participants will have a private bedroom and share a common area with three others.

Fees

The registration fee of $250.00 covers conference materials, meals, and guest speakers. If you are a teacher looking for Professional Development Credit, please contact us for special discounts.

Fellowships

Each year the Berglund Center awards three fellowships to fund research on various topics on the Internet. The 2009-2010 Berglund Fellowship application is due August 1st, 2008.
